Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires
Upon arrival at the Buenos Aires City Airport, a bucket list destinations representative will meet you and Transfer to your hotel in Buenos Aires and check-in and overnight.
Day 2: Half-Day City Tour
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy our traditional Buenos Aires city tour. You will be swept away by the highlights of our beloved Buenos Aires. Over the course of a half-day, you will have the chance to visit the historical and political center of the city around May Square (Plaza de Mayo) and the Pink House (the presidential house). Later, visit San Telmo with its cobblestone streets and the oldest residential neighborhood and La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful, and tango is ever-present: come to walk Caminito street and dance with the locals. The next stop the chic and aristocratic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us that Buenos Aires was once the “Paris of the South”. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel. In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel to be driven to a mythical place where you will discover one of our most ancient traditions. You will have a memorable night out in Buenos Aires and will experience the passion of the Argentine tango. Tango is our immigrant origins, the talent of our local artists, the sensuality of the Argentine woman and our way to deal with a broken heart, dancing our way through tragic and yet eternal love stories. While having dinner, you will enjoy a professional display of tango and music with a group of local artists on stage immersed in an elegant and alluring place. The manners, ambience, clothes and dance steps which tango lovers used to practice 100 years ago will come to life again and you will travel in time for a night. At the end of the evening, around midnight, you will be driven back to your hotel, fully in love with the bohemian spirit of our beloved Buenos Aires, Transfer to the hotel and overnight. Day 3: Leaving For El Calafate.
Breakfast, and free morning at your leisure, early afternoon picks up and transfer to the airport to get our flight to El Calafate. 2 - hours and a half later, arrival, pick and transfer to your hotel in Calafate, free evening at your leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Perito Moreno Glacier Tour from El Calafate
Breakfast at the hotel, pick up at 09:00 am from your hotel in El Calafate and go directly to Los Glaciares National Park, where you can find the Perito Moreno Glacier. During the trip of 80 km, you will be able to appreciate the Patagonian steppe and mountain's view. Leaving town, we can see the Argentino Lake along with the Bahia Redonda, where it is possible to observe a large variety of birds and yellow fields due to their pasture called coirón. On the first 40 km, we will cross the Patagonian steppe, and once inside the National Park, we will observe prominent species of trees belonging to the “notofagus” family (ñires, lengas, guindos). Once arrive at the glacier area, we can enjoy its majesty and walk through the balconies to have different views of the front side of it. lunch and at 4 pm transfer to your hotel in Calafate. free evening at your leisure, dinner and overnight. Day 5: Calafate Half Day Tour + Visit to Walichu Caves
Breakfast and pick up from your hotel, we will have a half day tour in Calafate, our first stop will be in Punta Walichu, an archaeological site where you will learn about the original people that lived in this area, from the prehistoric rock painting to the Tehuelches, the last of the original people that lived here. You will also get information about the landscape, geology, flora, and fauna of the area. The ride will go around the oldest places of the town, visiting the first houses, the main buildings, the community center, and the city hall. You will visit the Bahia Redonda, where we will be able to observe a myriad of fascinating birds. In the end, we will stop at the History Exhibition Hall- Centro de Interpretation Historical, where the exposition will take you through 14000 years of environmental and social evolution from the glaciations to the present. During this trip, you will have the opportunity to witness the development of the place and realize that you are also part of its evolution. you will have extra time for lunch and about 4 or 5 pm we will head back to Calafate, and you will be dropped off at your hotel. free evening at your leisure, dinenr and overnight.
Day 6: El Calafate Full Day Boat Tour
From Puerto Bandera, 47 km (29 miles) away from El Calafate, we will start our navigation through the northern arm of Lago Argentino. We will sail to pass through ‘Boca del Diablo’, heading towards Upsala Channel to navigate among the big ice floes that fall off Upsala Glacier’s front wall. Our next destination will be the Spegazzini Channel, where we will enjoy the view of the Seco Glacier. We will continue up tho Spegazzini Glacier’s front wall, where we will also enjoy Hein Sur and Peineta Glaciers views. Afterward, we shall disembark at Spegazzini Base to begin our visit to the area by walking through a forest path to arrive at Spegazzini Shelter. This accessible 300-meters path will take us to stop at different stations and viewpoints covering the whole Bahía de Los Glaciares. We can have lunch at the shelter, visit the shop, or just sit to enjoy the beautiful landscape. Those who like trekking can take the Mountain Path. This medium-difficulty path goes through a wooded trail full of natural viewpoints and incredible views, ending at the embarkation point.
Day 7: Leaving For Iguazu
Breakfast at the hotel, Free morning at your leisure, pick up and transfer to the airport, arrival in Iguazu Airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel, free evening at your leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Iguazu Falls
Today you will experience the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls from Misiones, the area which borders Brazil. After being picked up by your English-speaking guide, you will be transferred to Iguassu National Park to board a small intra-park train to the first above-water platforms. Marvel at the scenery as you wind your way along this intricate path system to the imposing “Garganta del Diabo” (in Spanish) or Devil's Throat. This awe-inspiring section of the falls funnels 50 percent of the overall flow into a narrow section, letting out a deep roar and a huge amount of mist. While the Devil’s Throat is closer to the Brazilian side, the Argentinians created an expansive and elevated walkway in order to allow visitors to position themselves right above the action! At the end of the tour you will be returned to your hotel. This afternoon, get ready for the ultimate Iguassu Falls experience as you enjoy a boat ride that will get you up close and personal with this incredible natural wonder! After a short off-road truck ride through the jungle, descend about 250 steps to a dock to board a small speedboat and start your exciting ride. Zip over rapids through the Iguassu River Canyon and get tantalizingly close to several waterfalls, including the Three Musketeers, the Devil’s Throat and San Martin falls. Hold on to your seats, next you’re headed straight under the falls for a refreshing shower! From there you’ll truly be able to feel the raw, natural power of the thundering water first-hand. Expect to get wet on this one of a kind experience. Dry bags will be provided for your personal belongings (clothes, shoes, phones, cameras etc.) to reduce the risk of damage or loss. Ponchos, jackets, towels or other personal waterproof gear is not provided. It is highly recommended that you bring a change of clothes or waterproof clothing to better enjoy the rest of your afternoon.
Day 9: Leaving For Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel, Free morning at your leisure, after lunch, pick up and transfer to the airport, Arrival in Buenos Aires, pick-up and transfer to your hotel, check-in and free evening at your leisure, dinner and tango show, at the end transfer to the hotel and overnight.
Day 10: Leaving for your hometown
Breakfast at the hotel, free morning at your leisure. pick up and transfer to the airport to get your flight to your next destination. Farewell.
